HIMSS 2025
At HIMSS25, healthcare innovators and experts gathered to explore groundbreaking advancements in medical technology. Two key discussions showcased how organizations are leveraging remote monitoring and predictive analytics to enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows.
Eric Cucchi from UMASS Memorial Health shared how Tele-ICU and remote monitoring are transforming critical care. By implementing RemoteSense, UMASS Memorial Health is utilizing a vendor-agnostic, interoperable solution to improve remote patient monitoring, optimize workflows, and enhance care coordination—ensuring seamless access to critical patient data across systems.
In another insightful panel discussion, Dr. Raimond Winslow from the Roux Institute was joined by Dr. Jim Fackler, a practicing physician at Johns Hopkins and professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine, and Dr. Xiao Hu, professor at Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and a program faculty, and a program faculty member at department of Biomedical Informatics at School of Medicine, a leader in computational health science. Together, they explored the power of predictive analytics in the session “From Code to Care: Deploying Predictive Analytics Platforms for Clinical Impact.”
Their collective expertise—from data integration and critical care informatics to machine learning and physiological signal processing—highlighted how AI-driven predictive models are helping clinicians anticipate and respond to patient needs with greater precision.
We’re proud to support both UMASS Memorial Health and MaineHealth in their innovation journeys. HIMSS25 was filled with rich conversations, transformative ideas, and inspiring collaborations. Thank you to everyone who attended and engaged with us—we look forward to continuing the conversation and pushing the boundaries of healthcare innovation!
